Polyvore Creations

Hello fashionistas,
I've been messing around on Polyvore.

The outfit below is what I would call a "Summertime Fantasy". I went for a neutral look with a pop of blue. The bronze trio is exactly what I would wear on my eyes for a hot summer day.
I see a chic girl walking around downtown with her friends in this. Days filled with smiles, laughter, and frozen treats. Sounds perfect!
 Summertime Fantasy

This next look I put together I titled as 'Pink, Gold, Beauty'.
This look has a definite girly vibe to it. I see a girl going on a date with her boyfriend for a casual brunch. Done up, but not over done. Soft makeup, golden and cream accessories, against sweet shades of pink. I adore this skirt, the bow print is subtle, but very cute. The giant bow is fun and flirty, as I said before, I just love this skirt.
This last outfit I titled as "Sultry Rocker Chic".
I honestly have no clue where I came up with that. I looked over at Melissa and said "what should I title this?" she said "potato salad" and then I came up with this.
I can see a cool girl going to a rock concert in this. Edgy with the black leggings and clutch, but girly with the tunic and shoes. Feminine meets edgy. This screams "cool girl chic" to me.

Today Melissa and I moved all the stuff out of my room and into the living room, then we painted the first coat of paint in my room. I like it. Tomorrow my mom and I will be doing the second one, and painting the dressers black and white.
I'll be sure to post pictures when the entire thing is done (aka bedding, desk, etc is in here). I still need to order my bedding and desk offline.

I really enjoy messing around on Polyvore, so addictive!
Let me know if you want me to continue posting looks I've made. I hope you do, because I love it!

I'll take swatch pictures of my recent makeup purchases and post them sometime over the weekend!

Lots of love!

Recently Purchased Makeup

Hello fashionistas,
Here are a couple of things I picked up last week.
I seriously need to stop shopping.

I bought this at Costco for a mere $10! Stila is one of my favorite brands (if not all time favorite), so when I saw this I jumped on it. The convertible color on its own is $20, so this was a mega steal.

Wet n' Wild palette in Comfort Zone and Hard Candy Fox in a Box blush in Hot Flash.

If you guys want to see swatches of anything (or everything), let me know in the comments below and I'll get right on it.

I've had a very lazy day. I finished a book, did some laundry, took a bubble bath. That was about it.
What have you all been up to?

Makeup Lemmings

Hello fashionistas,

As usual I'm lemming after a few things... Well more than a few things. I have no money right now, I have been hauling like no tomorrow! Mommy and Daddy spoil me. Thank you guys, you both treat me like a princess. I love you both (I'm not sure if/when you'll read this).
I  really cannot be buying anything for quite a bit, but it's nice to have things that you want (plus when you finally get around to buying them it will be even sweeter).

I'm going to tell you my ever growing list of makeup desires. These are in no particular order.

     MAC
  • Woodwinked
  • Mulch
  • All That Glitters
  • Evolution Revolution lipglass (from the MAC Bloggers' Obsessions collection)
  • Angel lipstick
ESSENCE
  • I want to peruse the XXL lipglosses, then make my decision on the shades! I've seen swatches and they all look so pretty
  • I really like Essence's nail polishes (cheap and decent quality). Again, I like to peruse while I'm there!
E.L.F.

  • I am obsessed with ELF's studio line blushers.
  • After seeing swatches from the lovely Steph's blog (check it out here) I want to try out their studio lines cream shadows.

I won't be buying any of this for quite sometime. Especially the MAC products, I like to buy from there, but it's just so darn expensive! I'll buy the lipglass soon... It is a limited edition after all! All of their LE collections are how they really get you to purchase, it's the fear that the latest 'it' product won't be around long.

What are you all lemming after? Makeup, clothes, cars?

Freshness

Bonjour fashionistas,
I wore this to the dentist and to run errands with my mom the other day.
Photos courtesy of my lovely little sister!

Jacket and Shoes: Bealls Tank top: ? Shorts: Kohls Bracelet and Earrings: Forever 21 Headband: Claire's

I'm in LOVE with this blazer. I seriously can't wait to wear it again. I titled this "Freshness" because I feel like the blazer looks really fresh and clean. Once I get really tan (I'm barely tan at all) this will POP and look ahhh-mazing! These shoes were also a really good buy, the make my legs look long, which I always need. I don't know if you guys know this, but I absolutely hate wearing shorts. I do not like my stumpy legs. My best friend Mel always tells me that I have to get over my fear of shorts, it's too hot to not wear them! She's right.

This is one of my favorite headbands, so Blair Waldorf-esque (Gossip Girl). I was going to wear my hair straight (by straight I mean smooth out the ends of my layers, this is my hair basically natural), but my straightener made a pop noise, so I put it down and unplugged it. I was scared it was going to catch on fire. Needless to say, my mom bought another straightener. Well she bought another straightener for her, I'm going to get one like my old one (Remington). I'll just use her small one until I can get my wide one!

Anyways, I'm out at my Nana's for bit so that's why posts aren't going to be quite so regular. Today is Nana's 70th birthday! We're having a big party for her tomorrow. My Nana took me driving for 1 and a half hours today, we went on the highway (granted it's in the country so it wasn't packed, but still really cool). I'm trying to convince my mom that when we drive home that she should let me drive part of the way! My turning has really improved, backing up is still really challenging. Practice makes perfect. Seen as I've been at it for only 3 days, I've got a lot of practicing to do to make it perfect!

Lots of love, have a fabulous weekend!

Downtown Outfit of the Day

Hey fashionistas,
I have a little outfit of the day/what I did on Saturday for you all!
First of all I'd like to say that I have the BEST friends! Ethan took a billion photos of me for the blog. He really puts up with a lot from me!
So, even though I doubt you'll read this, thank you bestie! You did a great job!
He won't admit to it, but he secretly loved it. He was like "I think you should lie on this bench for some photos."

These are the famous lions that are at the front of the Bridge of Lions in Saint Augustine.
There may not be a ton for teens to do in Saint Augustine, but it sure is beautiful!
Dress: Target (Calypso) Shoes: Bealls Bracelet: Vintage Earrings: Forever 21 Sunglasses: old
Bag: Jessica Simpson (it doesn't go with this at all, I just haven't switched to a summer bag, mainly because I haven't found one I like)
He'd kill me if I put this up on Facebook, but it needed to be shared with someone! Every time I see it I crack up!
Ethan just fooling around downtown. For a guy, my bestie is pretty stylish. He'll text me and be like "I don't know if this goes with this can you help me?"
Best Friends.

We met for lunch/brunch. He went to this pizza place and picked up a slice, while I dragged him with me to go get a waffle. Delicious. Easily the best waffle I've ever had!

Just a picture of the bay. It was such a beautiful day to spend with my best friend. We played mini golf and tied (I wanted to win so badly so I could have bragging rights)! It may have been a beautiful day, but it was disgustingly hot. We were sweating to the point where we were like "I'm ready to be done with mini golf!" After that we got gelato. My fave!

On a random, side note, I finally got my learners permit for driving today! Very excited and scared. As my mom says, driving isn't a right, it's a responsibility. Which I find to be very true. We'll be practicing a lot before I'm on the actual open roads.

Have a great day!

Another Haul..... I Have an Addiction!

Hello fashionistas!
I have another haul for you all. I find it incredibly ironic how I said I wasn't going to do anymore shopping....
Sorry these aren't the best pictures, I took the pictures too late so the lighting in my room was not very good.

On a random note, Happy Father's Day! My dad helps me with tech problems on the blog all the time (and a myriad of other problems), I don't know what I'd do without my daddy! I love him so much!

These are from Bealls which a department store that is only in Florida.
You can buy offline though, the brand is "Wurl".
I bought these because I was in need of a new pair of wedges and I figured I could wear them with brown or black! My mom and I both agree that the bottom part could have been made to look a little nicer. I like the cut out, I just don't love the material they're made out of! It looks very teen-ish. I am a teen so I guess they're appropriate!

I have a blazer addiction! The second picture is the back of the blazer. I love this blazer, it's sort of a 3/4 length sleeve with an eyelet pattern. Lightweight, soft, super summery! I already have a couple of looks in mind with this! Can't wait to wear this. I'm not sure if it's a blazer or just a jacket. I'm calling it a blazer.
This is also from Bealls.

My mom picked this up from Hobby Lobby, it was on sale for $5!
I love room decor shopping.

Another Hobby Lobby purchase. I found this for $6! Originally $30. This isn't really filled, I was just seeing how many rings I could fit in the one section. Sorry that the picture with the top open is sideways, my computer won't save it when I rotate it! Grr.

Another room buy! I was telling mom the other day how I wanted a tray for my room once we redo it to put jewelry or makeup on, then we found this! I had wanted a mirror one, but the ones that had mirrors were a boring shape. This has a little bit of a curve to it. So, mom and I are going to buy these little mirror squares and hot glue them to the bottom. If you can't find what you want, then make what you want!

I hope you enjoyed my haul!

I have an outfit of the day to put up on Tuesday, so be on the lookout for that!

Have a great week!
