Stylish Hats from Dorfman Pacific for Sun Safety- Review!

Hello fashionistas!
I have a great Dorfman Pacific to review for you all!
Yes, I was sent this product to review, but that would never alter my opinion!

Living in Florida requires a girl to protect herself from the intense heat and this fabulous floppy hat is the perfect accessory to save my skin. May is Melanoma awareness month and it is something that really should be brought to everyone's attention. 1 in 5 Americans will have some form of skin cancer in their lifetime. Sometimes SPF isn't enough, so protecting your skin with a wide brimmed hat is an easy way to stay safe and look fashionable at the same time.

The LP 157 hat is available in natural with four different band options; you can either order the black, tea, turquoise, or fuschia. I have the fuschia hat because what girl doesn't love to don pink? I love the bow in the back, super cute!

I will definitely be packing this hat to bring with me on my summer vacation to the Virgin Islands/St. John.
It is easy to fold and will bounce right back to its original shape.
This  hat also has a paper braid and comes in 4 color variations. It also carries the UPF sun protection factor of 50 plus! This hat retails for $25.

I hope you decide to wear the LP 157 because it will keep your skin safe while keeping you looking like a stylista.

Haul! Forever 21, the Loft, New York and Company!

Hello fashionistas!

Due to the load of time I have spent at the gym I have dropped a size, so this weekend my mom and I did some shopping. I just wanted to get a few new things to hold me over while I continue to lose more weight (I'm hoping to drop down another 2-3 sizes).
Anyways, I just wanted to share what I got with you all. I really have not gone clothing shopping in a few months (besides a shirt that I bought at the Loft).

I wanted a new pair of silver hoops and F21 had a trio of earrings for a mere $2.80. The studs looked like a simple, but interesting pair of earrings, so I also got these. I really liked F21's bold, turquoise bangle for a statement bracelet. The last bracelet is a really cool magnetic bracelet that I found at Loft for a mere $7!

I actually just got a job hostessing at a local sushi restaurant, so I needed to pick up a few black shirts. I thought this shirt would be comfortable and work appropriate, but the gems on the side added a little pop of personality. This was from Forever 21.

This shirt was also a work purchase, I love the pleated detail on the front. This shirt is also from Forever 21.

I wanted to pick up another pair of yoga/workout pants and these pants from F21 were only $11.80. I wanted to pick up two cheap tank-tops while I was at F21.

This blouse is from the Loft. I love the flowy-ness of the shirt and the falling petals. Also the magenta color is so pretty! The Loft had a sale on the sale items making them an additional 50% off, aka a majorly good deal!

This was also from the Loft and also for my new job. The top has a tie on the front, but my picture doesn't really do it justice.

I bought this top at the Loft because I love love love the bright coral color. The lace-like texture down the middle is so feminine!

This shirt was from the Loft and was incredibly soft. I love the neon pink mixed with the heather grey; I will definitely pair this with a statement necklace.

New York and Company had sunglasses on sale for a mere $5, so I could not resist the good deal.
Who doesn't love cheap sunnies? I justify this purchase because normally one pair would be like $20..
Don't judge me ( ;

Have you guys bought anything new lately?
Hope you're all have a wonderful week! I'm off to go dance the night away in Zumba.

Beauty Buys

Hello fashionistas!
I'm writing a quick post before I start studying for my second AICE psych exam (just a test for college credit, you know, no big deal... #sarcasm). Sorry for being a flighty blogger again; the last push for exams and prepping is CRAZY. I feel like I come home, go to the gym, shower, and study/do homework every single night. Probably because that is what I've been doing.

I went to Sephora last weekend and I picked up a few new things.

SEPHORA COLLECTION - Ribbon Hair Ties

I got these hair ties because they are super stretchy elastic bands that don't crease your hair or break it!  With all the time I've been spending at the gym with my hair in a ponytail I needed these! You get eight of them for $8.50. Also they come with glittery ones... Need I say more?

My mom bought me this St. Tropez self tanner and the accompanying mitt. I'm really excited to use this because I have heard the rave reviews about it! I'm going to try it tonight. Will report back on how I feel about it.

My aunt surprised me by buying all of this Jonathan Dirt products. They smell like almonds and basically leave me sniffing my hair all day long (obviously on the sly.. I don't want to look weird).
The Dirt Shine and Define Creme works great after curling hair.
I like the Dry Dirt Texturizing Spray because it helps give my hair a nice volume with a good hold that lasts all day. I have yet to try the other two products, but look forward to using them.

Hope you all are doing fabulously!
I'm off to bed to get some rest before my big exam tomorrow; my friend came over and we studied for a few hours, so all I need now is sleep!

Neutrals

Hello fashionistas!
I have been busy with AICE exams and school in general. I wanted to share an outfit that I wore a week and half ago when it was raining like crazy cats and dogs for 4 days.

Top: Target Jeans: Kohl's Boots: Kohl's Necklace: Etsy

The main reason for the boots ensemble was because I wanted to keep my feet dry.
I wanted to keep the clothes very neutral, so I paired a black tee with my warm brown boots. I add a pop with my turquoise statement necklace.

With the rain pouring down outside I did not want to have anything fancy done with my hair, so I just clipped some of it back. I used a lot of mascara and a berry lip. Very simple!

This weekend my mom and I made a Sephora run. I got one of OCC's lip tars in Pretty Boy and a 100 point perk for a deluxe sample of Urban Decay's Primer Potion.

Today is going to be a busy day; school, homework, guitar concert, so much stuff and not enough time. I have to take a day off from the gym today because I am so sore!

Hope your Monday is good!

Stripes, Please.

Hello fashionistas!
I know it is rare for me to be posting during the week (this last semester of school has been craaaazy), but I wanted to share an outfit that I wore to school this week.

Top: Loft Tank-top: Forever 21 Pants: Gloria Vanderbilt Shoes: Target Earrings: Kohl's Watch: Avenue

I wanted to wear the new top that I bought with my favorite black pants. The stripes and sheer fabric bring an airy quality that I wanted to balance out with edgier, gladiator cage style heels. I tied in edgy earrings in a metal teardrop shape that were contrasted with a white watch. White and black is a big trend for spring, so I wanted to dabble in it. This shade of purple is something that I want more of in my closet!

I added some loose waves to my hair with a mini straightening iron. I flipped my hair upside down and gave a big spritz of hairspray. I was in the mood for casual, voluminous hair.
I kept the makeup minimal with a pop of pink on my lips. I used Sephora's nano lip liner in Funky Fuschia with Korres lip butter in Wild Rose for a glossy finish.

Today was a pretty good day (except for the fact that it has POURED ALL DAY). School was busy, I aced a pre-calculus test, did a glaze tester for a pottery project, and more school activities. The year is winding down, but AICE exams are just starting up. AICE exams are college level exams that we receive credit for if we pass. The pressure is on! I'm taking the SAT this Saturday (SAT on Sat..), should be 'fun'.

Thank god it's almost Friday!
