Floral Fever

Hello fashionistas!
I wanted to share another outfit of the day with you all. I wore this last Friday to volunteer at an art gallery for the first Friday art walk. Every first Friday of the month the art galleries in my town have refreshments and music playing while people walk through and look at the art. I really enjoy it!

Shirt: New York & Company Pants: Loft Shoes: Payless Earrings: Kohl's Necklace: JCP

I wanted the focus of the outfit to be on pants, so I kept the rest of the outfit very simple. Plain black tee, black wedges, and simple knotted silver accessories. The earrings and necklace match perfectly, but the funny thing is that they are from two different stores!

I'm wearing this tomorrow when I go to get my senior pictures taken. I'm going to pair it with blue heels for a pop of color. I'm getting just my yearbook photo and my cap and gown photos taken. They require one other picture, so I chose the "Vogue" setting (that's where I will be wearing this). I'm getting my real senior photos done with a friend of the family who is a photographer.

Colby was so sad when we left the house. He cracks me up!

I went with light makeup. I used the blush featured here. My lip color is a mix of ELF's Candy Shop lip gloss in Berry Pop and Korre's Lip Butter in Pomegranate.

I've been really busy these past couple of days. Today I met a friend for coffee, took my sister to orientation, sushi with the baby sis, gym, and errand running. I'm off to go paint my nails. Hope you guys are doing well!

  1. Cute! Love those pants and how simple it is to pair them with the black top. Have fun getting your pictures taken- I already know you'll have a WAY better time than I did (I'm painfully awkward in front of the camera, LOL).

    1. Thanks! Pictures were really weird. The photographer kept going "so like how would you like to pose" and they were really young (MAYBE 20) adults taking the pictures. I wanted to say "shouldn't you be the one posing me.. You are supposedly a professional!"
Oh well, I'm getting my real ones done with someone else!

    1. Thanks! I really wanted the pants to pop! Plus anything else might be too much with that bold of print.
