Brilliant Earth Windsor Collection Fashion Board

Hello fashionistas!
I was recently contacted by a lovely woman over at the jewelry company Brilliant Earth. They recently released a new line called the Windsor Collection that is retro inspired with a modern twist. I fell instantly in love with this company and their pieces. The goal at Brilliant Earth is to make jewelry as beautiful as it can be.

Here is the fashion mood board that I concocted to help promote the launch of this new line.

I feel like the line captures the effect of old Hollywood and the glamour. I hope that I find a great man who I fall in love with and that he realizes that I'm a girl who needs a ring from the Windsor collection on her finger! Or if we're just casually dating maybe he will pick up one of the fabulous pairs of earrings or pendant necklaces in the collection. The earrings in the mood board are also from the Windsor collection.

Here is a little bit about the company and their beliefs behind their business practices.

We are passionate about cultivating a more ethical, transparent, and sustainable jewelry industry.
Brilliant Earth's mission focuses on three important facets:
Brilliant Earth
believes that high
quality, fine jewelry
need not come
at a great human or
environmental
cost.

Providing Quality

Brilliant Earth provides the highest quality jewelry originating from pure sources and harvested using socially responsible practices.

Fostering Change

Brilliant Earth provides education about the social and environmental issues affecting the jewelry industry and identifies ways to help.

Promoting Growth

Brilliant Earth supports underdeveloped communities ravaged by the jewelry industry by donating a share of our profits.

I think this is a great company with amazing designs that will make any girl remember that diamonds are truly a girl's best friend! Make sure to go check out the new collection and if you're hinting at an engagement feel free to email your beau a few links!

Loads of love!

Ring Bling!

Hello fashionistas!
I wanted to share a little bit of 'ring bling' with you all today.
For a part of my birthday present my mom took me to get acrylics on my nails. I don't know if you guys know this, but I had (have? Am I over it?) the worst nail biting habit. Sometimes I would be bored and gnawing at my nails or if I'm stressed it always exacerbates the nail biting. Anyways, now my nails look nice. I'm hoping that if I keep the acrylics on for a bit longer that I will kick my bad habit!

Anyways, onto my first ring bling!

My mom bought me this really lovely Drusy Quartz and sterling silver ring for my birthday. This ring is such a statement piece; it is a great pop of color. The setting really adds a touch of boho-chic to the ring. This ring is from Kohl's. My mom has been building up my nice jewelry collection and this piece will last a lifetime (same with my Tiffany & Co. necklace).

Here is my ring bling number 2!

The next ring I purchased was bought after Christmas. I was perusing the Kohl's jewelry counter and found this little purple ombre gem. This ring is sterling silver and  Swarovski crystals. This ring has 2 things that I love, purple and ombre. The ring starts off with a darker purple that fades into a pale purple and finally fades into a clear stone. This is also quite a blingy statement piece.

Do you guys have any bling-y pieces of jewelry? Are you guys fans of the ring bling? I definitely am!

I think I'm going to spend the day with my boyfriend because he heads back to college on Sunday (boo!).
Not looking forward to having to school starting up on Monday. Oh back to the grind. The one good thing is the fact that all of our midterms were done pre winter break.

Anyways, loads of love!

A Blue Box and a Hefty Price

Hello fashionistas!

Today I made a decision that I would be saving my money for something beautiful, something that comes in a blue box, and a hefty price tag... I know you all know exactly what I'm talking about, a piece of jewelry from Tiffany and Co.

I think I want this piece
$165

Or possibly this piece.
$115

Which one do you like?

I'm going to be saving basically all of my money for a couple of months, but it will be oh so worth it.
Of course this cash saving starts after I go back to school shopping, but I will not be making an unnecessary trip to MAC... No matter how badly I want Woodwinked and Star Violet.

Do you have any Tiffany pieces? Did you buy them or was it a special present?

Wish me luck on my saving!
