GE Reveal Lightbulb Makeover and Review

Today I have a wonderful product from GE to review for you all. They are the GE Reveal light bulbs! 

LED light bulb are part of the GE reveal® brand, engineered to have the same familiar size and shape of an incandescent bulb, but deliver a color-enhanced spectrum of light. By January 2014, standard incandescent light bulbs of 40 watts and above will no longer be sold in the United States due to their energy inefficiency and changing energy regulations. The new GE reveal® LED will be a great alternative to incandescent bulbs, in addition to various other energy-efficient light bulbs that GE already currently offers.

Each package comes with 4 lightbulbs. 

My old light bulbs were a bit yellow and dingy. It was difficult to apply any makeup in my bathroom because they lighting was so poor. Colors were not accurate and it was very hard to see what needed more blending or more product.

Like other GE reveal® light bulbs, the new reveal® LED filters out dull yellow rays, enhancing the colors and patterns in your home that may normally go unnoticed under standard incandescent light. The light in my bathroom is now crisper and much brighter. Doing any last minute touch-ups before I walk out the door is now very easy to do because the light is super bright. 

By replacing your home’s existing lighting with GE reveal® bulbs, every room will have a more enhanced, vivid surrounding light. For example, with reveal®, the colors in your living room will appear brighter and pop. In your bathroom, colors will look less yellow. GE reveal® bulbs transform a room from ordinary to extraordinary.

GE reveal® bulbs are available at retailers such as Home Depot, Lowes, Target, and Walmart, among others. This Fall 2013, GE is collaborating with retailers to provide special discounts for customers to create their own quick and easy makeover by purchasing reveal® light bulbs. GE reveal® light bulbs come in various options including energy-efficient halogen and CFL (compact fluorescents) with the new LEDs available this September.

The new GE reveal® LED light bulbs are the best energy-efficient light bulbs, lasting more than a decade based on three hours of use each day. They will be offered in 40- and 60-watt replacements, as well as the popular BR-30 shape for recessed fixture down-lighting.
