Guest Post from Lonnaliz: Summer Brights

 Hello Lovelies,

I'm Alonna from my style blog, Lonnaliz. guest bloggin' it up for Savannah while she's on vacation!
I'm going to share with you guys a fun summery outfit. One of my personal favorites, really.

Top:Urban Outfitters Tank Top:Gap Shorts:Gap Sandals:Gap
Didn't realize I'm all gap'd out. They should sponsor me...

This chiffon-y bright yellow top is legitimately one of my favorite things I've bought. Chiffon is so breatheable, which is amazing. It helps me cope with the ridiculously hot Florida summer. The sleeve/underarm/midriff detail flowy things are the best thing about this.
I feel like this is the epitome of summer. Sandals. Brights. White shorts.
Also, just an FYI, Savannah, this outfit was tailor made for you. I woke up at 10am, put on an outfit, and hosted a special tailor made photoshoot. My mother thought I was crazy. I never wake up before 2pm when I don't have anywhere to go. Being fully dressed and waking 4 hours prior to what's normal was a bit too much for my mother. I didn't even go anywhere. But it was nice being dressed, so I sat around my house in bright and exciting clothes.

Am I the only one who does crazy things for the world of fashion bloggers?
Enjoy your day everyone .

Guest Post from Camille: 3 Trendy Dress Looks in 1 Post

Hello Ladies!
Today I will be filling in for Savannah while she is on a well deserved vacation with her family. My name is Camille and you can visit me over at I am Never Naked. I know Savannah loves to wear dresses and has a lot of them so, I decide I would follow suit and show you how I'll be wearing three of my favorite summer dresses.

The first is a very trendy Hi-Lo style dress. Don't let it fool you though I am just under 5 feet so imagine my surprise when I tried this on and it fit perfectly! I love the two neutral colors in this dress I had a hard time deciding weather I was going to pair it with neon or this look here. I ultimately went with this because it has more of a daytime feel to it.

Dress, Heel, Belt- TJ Maxx; Bracelets- Forever 21, JC Penney

For this second look I used a convertible dress as skirt to give off a boho vibe. I have really been in to the boho style recently and I'm going to blame it all on the summer. I adore this lace vest and the texture it adds to this outfit.

Skirt, Wedges, Bracelets, Belt & Vest- TJ Maxx; Tank- Old Navy; Necklaces- Macy's, Charlotte Russe

I'm not one for themed outfits outside of Halloween and Ugly Sweater parties, but I was feeling a little patriotic with 4th of July right around the corner so, I had to throw this in mix!

Thank you all for stopping by!

Guest Post from Lonnaliz: How To Style Your Basic Dress

Hello lovelies my name is Alonna and today I'm guest blogging for Savannah while she's on vacation. I decided to do a post about changing up your basic dress.
Sometimes I feel like solid colored dresses are more useful than the printed ones we are all usually drawn to. Plain/basic dresses are like a blank canvas. You're free to accessorize how you want without fear of over doing it or clashing patterns.
I'm going to give you some tips on how to make those solid, basic dresses the center of your wardrobe and to increase the amount of stylish ensembles that you can make with them.
Some of these tips might be no brainers, but oh well!

-Pair it with an exciting bag.
-Wear it with a statement necklace.
-Add a schnazzy scarf.
-Spiffy it up with a tailored blazer.
-Wear a colorful scarf as a belt.
-Try a pair of shoes you wouldn't normally wear with the dress. (Converse, sandals instead of heels, heels -instead of sandals, whatever)!
-Put on a pair of contrasting colored shoes.
-Trade dresses with a friend, hehe.
-Wear it with a summer-y vest
-This may resemble an old woman too much if paired with the wrong dress, but add a brooch or pin.
-My personal favorite, wear it over a button down, flannel, long sleeve shirt, or chambray button down.
-Add a cozy cardigan for a relaxed look.
-Toss an old button down (chambray, plaid, an old work shirt of your dad's/boyfriend's/brother/s) over it for a different look. Don't forget to belt it to keep your shape!
-Printed belts are a great way to jazz up a basic dress and highlight your killer curves!

Hope this helped you all get the most wear out of your dresses!
Enjoy the rest of your day.
