Polyvore Creations

Hello fashionistas!

I hadn't been on Polyvore in ages and decided to go on tonight and got busy mixing up new ensembles. Polyvore is truly a website that I love because it just allows me to create whatever I dream up.

Geometric Girl

This first outfit I envisioned for a chic woman working in the city. I thought a geometric print mixed with the bold pinks worked well with the summer 2012 neon trend. If I was a working woman, I would definitely use a giant black carryall. I adore this Kate Spade one. I wish my entire closet was Kate Spade. I think I might order these hot pink flats for myself. I think they'd be a good color pop!

Colorfully Clashing

With this outfit I envisioned it for a tropical island getaway. I thought it'd be perfect for a late night on the beach dinner. The mixture of the red and pink is sassy, but contrasts nicely with the cobalt blue accents; cobalt also happens to be another big trend this season. I thought a shimmery eye, loads of mascara, and a touch of bronzer would compliment this look.

Prim and Proper

For this final outfit I pictured a southern girl heading off to brunch. I love the mint dress with the white polka dots, my favorite pattern. I also like the way the orange plays against the mint. I love the J.Crew pointed toe flats, I would love to own a pair! For makeup I pictured just a bit of peach gloss and neutral nails.

Have you guys been on Polyvore lately? Here's my profile. If you all have one, link me yours in the comment section!

Alright, I'm off to go get my things in order for tomorrow.
Have a fabulous day!

Polyvore Creations #2

Hello fashionistas!
I'm off on vacation, but don't worry I have not forgotten about you all!
I would love to show you all what I've been wearing, but honestly it has not been exciting! Dresses over bathing suits, shorts and tops, nothing super fabulous. My makeup has also been basic, powder, bronzer, blush, mascara, so not much to show you guys. I didn't want to abandon the blog, so I thought I'd show you some of my recent Polyvore outfits.

Classically Sweet

£30 - oasis-stores.com

£635 - net-a-porter.com

$1,450 - alexandermcqueen.com

$7,200 - tiffany.com

This first outfit I titled as Classically Sweet. I thought the pussybow top was so sweet and when I mixed it with the skirt I thought it looked 'Classically Sweet'!
I can see someone wearing this out on a date, or to the office if you were to change the shoes and bag.
I'm so in love with all of the McQueen clutches, too bad I can't afford one!

SunFun

£18 - oasis-stores.com

$6 - jcpenney.com

$288 - nordstrom.com

$45 - jessicasimpsoncollection.com

$4.95 - amazon.com

Summer just wouldn't be the same without stripes, shorts, and sandals! This would be cute to walk through a park or be on a boat (on a boat, always reminds me of that rap song)! To contrast with the blues I thought a nice red polish would be perfect. Simple lips, big sunnies, and you're set!

Workin' It

$421 - my-wardrobe.com

£40 - missselfridge.com

$257 - my-wardrobe.com

$34,120 - barneys.com

$80 - chickdowntown.com

$16 - nordstrom.com

This final outfit I had in mind for a day at work. I feel like a classy lady working in a law firm or fashion magazine would wear this to work. I thought the soft mauve color of the pants played nicely with the earrings and makeup. The glasses would make you look very professional.

Again, I love Polyvore, I can't stop creating outfits on it! I'm addicted.

I'll try to post again this week!
I've missed you guys!

Lots of love!

Polyvore Creations

Hello fashionistas,
I've been messing around on Polyvore.

The outfit below is what I would call a "Summertime Fantasy". I went for a neutral look with a pop of blue. The bronze trio is exactly what I would wear on my eyes for a hot summer day.
I see a chic girl walking around downtown with her friends in this. Days filled with smiles, laughter, and frozen treats. Sounds perfect!

This next look I put together I titled as 'Pink, Gold, Beauty'.
This look has a definite girly vibe to it. I see a girl going on a date with her boyfriend for a casual brunch. Done up, but not over done. Soft makeup, golden and cream accessories, against sweet shades of pink. I adore this skirt, the bow print is subtle, but very cute. The giant bow is fun and flirty, as I said before, I just love this skirt.
This last outfit I titled as "Sultry Rocker Chic".
I honestly have no clue where I came up with that. I looked over at Melissa and said "what should I title this?" she said "potato salad" and then I came up with this.
I can see a cool girl going to a rock concert in this. Edgy with the black leggings and clutch, but girly with the tunic and shoes. Feminine meets edgy. This screams "cool girl chic" to me.

Sultry Rocker Chic

£132 - farfetch.com

£151 - net-a-porter.com

$60 - zara.com

£20 - comparestoreprices.co.uk

$195 - alexandermcqueen.com

$70 - yesstyle.com

Today Melissa and I moved all the stuff out of my room and into the living room, then we painted the first coat of paint in my room. I like it. Tomorrow my mom and I will be doing the second one, and painting the dressers black and white.
I'll be sure to post pictures when the entire thing is done (aka bedding, desk, etc is in here). I still need to order my bedding and desk offline.

I really enjoy messing around on Polyvore, so addictive!
Let me know if you want me to continue posting looks I've made. I hope you do, because I love it!

I'll take swatch pictures of my recent makeup purchases and post them sometime over the weekend!

Lots of love!
