Life Update

Hello fashionistas!
I wanted to do a little update because I haven't blogged since last weekend. On Wednesday I had all four of my impacted wisdom teeth removed.

Needless to say I have been doing nothing but sleeping and eating ice cream. I have the best friends a girl could ask for because they have all either stopped to sit with me or sent me messages to check in on me. And of course I have my wonderful mother setting alarms to make sure I get all of the medicines on time. I swear she could run the world.
My life has been anything but glamorous these past couple of days! I best be feeling better by Monday because I start a new job! Exciting details will be shared later.

Miss you guys! I think I'm going to have to go take another snooze.

Loads of love!

Dorfman Pacific Cappelli Pack a Hat Review

Hello fashionistas!
I'm here today with a wonderful hat from Dorfman Pacific to share with you all!
This item is called the Cappelli Pack a Hat.

The hat comes folded up in a cute, handy striped clutch. The clutch helps keep you from losing the hat and able to take the hat off and effortlessly put it in a safe spot for your next wear! Another great thing about the clutch is that it can double as a little bag to take with you for your phone, lipgloss, and money. Totally genius and adorable.

I love the hat and the slightly floppy summertime style. It's perfect to add on to any summer ensemble or to wear when you're at the beach laying out in a bikini. Not only is the hat a great accessory, but it is helping keep your skin safe with a UPF 50+ rating.

Here are the other color options! I adore the green and I think it would like great on anyone with dark hair. The retail price is $25, therefore making the Pack A Hat perfect for vacation and for everyday use whether it's for yourself or for a friend.

Romper: Kohl's Shoes: Payless Ring: Kate Spade Earrings: Original Piece Hat: Dorfman Pacific

I paired my hat with this fun black and white romper. The hat provided a perfect amount of shade and added an air of mystery to my look. I complimented the black hat with a vibrant red lip.

If you would like to purchase one of these hats for yourself or for a friend you can check them out here! I highly suggest that you guys purchase one of these! Let me know if you all end up buying one!

I hope you guys had a lovely weekend!
Loads of love!

Start of Summer

Hello fashionistas!
Yesterday I took my last exam of my high school career. I may have graduated almost two weeks ago, but I still had to go back for four AICE (college program) exams. Here are a few snaps of what I've been up to since summer began.

Airplane selfies.

My mom's brother and his son came into Florida to visit for a few days. The two of them are in the middle of getting their pilot's license and wanted to go take a lesson. My sister and I got to go with them. The shock of the day was that I got to fly the plane! It was super cool to fly over downtown Jacksonville and the ocean.

My girl Victoria and I have spent a ridiculous amount of time hanging out at the gym and engaging in all sorts of shenanigans.

My mom and I went out for brunch last weekend at this place called Metro Diner. It's been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. I got hallah bread stuffed with bananas and cream cheese with a blueberry/strawberry compote on the side. Beyond delicious.

Here is one of the many workouts that Victoria and I have been doing. This is super intense and killer in the muggy FL heat. This was followed up with 30 minutes of Zumba.

My girl Asia and I grabbed lunch and frozen yogurt the other day.

For my summer job I'm nannying part time for a a few different families. This is a perfect fit for me because I love kids!

I'm really looking forward to making the most out of this summer with all of my girls!
I've got a review to post later this week and I definitely wanted to share some graduation photos with you all!

Loads of love!

4 Year Blog Birthday!

Hello fashionistas!
Today marks the fourth year that little old Glamorous Girl 2014 has been around.

I began this blog in the summer before my freshman year of high school and now I'm sitting here as a high school graduate still posting away, albeit less frequently, on this site. I never knew if people would read what I had to say, much less interact with me when I began posting, but I am so glad that I stuck with blogging. I've met so many great readers and fellow bloggers. The kind words have often been enough to get me through a difficult day and put a smile on my face.

I'm grateful to have documented the past four years of my life. I love knowing that I can look back and see all the ways that my life has changed from new friends, new styles, and a new body. This site has really helped me document my weight loss and life changes. I'm happy to share all of the happenings in my little corner of the web. And I'm even happier that people actually read it!

Thanks for being the best followers a girl could ask for, you all make my day!

Here's to many more years, even after 2014 passes!

Loads of love!
