Re-Accessorized.

Hello fashionistas!
Last month I did an outfit featuring this scarf and dress that was meant for an evening ensemble; this month I'm doing a post wearing the dress and scarf in a look that's meant for daytime adventures. My boyfriend shot these photos in this area that I call "Crabby Island" because of all the little crabs that live there! It's a marsh-y area behind my neighborhood. Thanks for taking these, Toby!

It had just rained, hence why I'm standing in a puddle!

Dress: Kohl's Headband, earrings, shoes: Forever 21 Scarf: The Clothing Store Bracelets: Wooden bracelet is Vintage, blue bracelet is NY&Co.

To turn these 2 items into a day look I thought I would play with different patterns, hence the cheetah print headband. In the night post I wore cobalt blue heels, for the day I thought that blue and gold gladiator sandals would look nice. I accessorized with fun bangles that went along with the color scheme of the outfit. For a bit of edge, I wore these pyramid-esque studs; these were a great Forever 21 find, under $4.

I had to pick up a crab!

Different blues of the bracelet contrasted nicely with the scarf. I also chose this bracelet because of its' subtle geometric pattern.

In this look I kept my makeup light and daytime-y by wearing just mascara, powder, blush, and a bright lipstick. The lipstick is #12 from the Kate Moss for Rimmel London line.
I kept my hair natural (aka straight as a pin) and I just spritzed some hair spray in it. These were taken after I had taken the contrasting cheetah print headband  off.

Do you guys ever change up your accessories and use the same core elements of an outfit for a new look?
Hope you all enjoyed this ensemble.
Happy almost weekend!
