Sinful Colors

I tried to like this nail polish. Really I did. I have had about one good experience with this nail polish, that's it. Out of all my tries only one time have I liked it. I just tried to apply Bali Mist and first of all it was not at all like the lavendery shiny color in the bottle it was like a shiny pink with hints of lavender. Even though it didn't look like the color I still tried it, it took about 4 or 5 coats to really build up the color, I had to do a Revlon Gel Hardening Base Coat before because my acrylics came off and my nails are kinda weak. So the polish always ends up goopy and not smooth. It doesn't ever really 'dry'. I will not buy it again.. No matter how pretty it looks in the bottle...... Okay I'm sure eventually I will buy it again. And maybe my hand isn't super steady but, come on how long should it take to dry!

I am planning to do a 'What I Take When I Travel- Makeup Bag' post later (like Tuesday or Wednesday because I leave Thursday) and a post about my experience with acrylic nails. I used to be a horrible nail biter.

  1. Oh i know...sinful colors is a convenient price but its a pain to apply. I realized it was worth it to pay a couple dollars more and get some good nail polish like china glaze, opi, essie etc. your blog is cute!! i think you might like mine! check it out and follow if you like:)

  2. I don't know - may be I'm lucky - I've got 3 of them - one being absolutely horrible - but the other 2 are quite OK. If you're interested I can look up the names of the good ones
