Surprise Sweet Sixteen!

Hello my fabulous readers!

On Saturday my friends and family threw me a surprise Sweet Sixteen birthday party! 

My best friend Lily, her mom, and sister took me out for lunch at this really delicious Spanish restaurant called The Columbia. My mom had told me to ask Lily's mom if at three we wanted to come back to our house for coffee and blondies; I asked Lily's mom and she said "of course." My mom was being really weird about us being there right at 3 and I said to Lily "what's up with my mom?!" When we pulled up to my house I walked in with my bags from spending the night at her house on Friday, I put my bags down and was like "I'm home." I then looked up and all of my close friends and family yelled "SURPRISE!" 

I was so shocked I almost peed myself! 

My mom had been working on this since September, my two best friends (Melissa and Lily) had been in on it too. My mom invited my two favorite teachers, only Bartz was able to make it, but it meant so much to me that she came. 

It was truly an unforgettable day, so I thought I'd share some pictures from it with you all. I'm going to do a separate post to show you all of the gifts that my friends and family got for me. 

If any of my friends or family are reading this I just want you all to know how much I love and appreciate you all! 

Oh, and the countdown for my real birthday is one day! I'll be sixteen on Thursday!

Mom did a dessert theme for my "Sweet" Sixteen.

Everything was extremely tasty. 

Mom and Dad got me a cake from my favorite bakery, Sugared Bliss. The top layer was vanilla cake with a carmel du leche filling and the bottom layer was chocolate with a chocolate ganache filling. Best thing ever.

Also, this picture looks really professional. Is my dad being a secret cake photographer?

My mom even personalized water bottles, she is such a crafty woman! I wish I had her crafty skills.

Behind me you can see pictures of me throughout my life. Mom made a bunch of different posters with pictures of me with my friends and another one of just me and family. Yet another crafty thing that I'm just not capable of!
