Ring Bling!

Hello fashionistas!
I wanted to share a little bit of 'ring bling' with you all today.
For a part of my birthday present my mom took me to get acrylics on my nails. I don't know if you guys know this, but I had (have? Am I over it?) the worst nail biting habit. Sometimes I would be bored and gnawing at my nails or if I'm stressed it always exacerbates the nail biting. Anyways, now my nails look nice. I'm hoping that if I keep the acrylics on for a bit longer that I will kick my bad habit!

Anyways, onto my first ring bling!

My mom bought me this really lovely Drusy Quartz and sterling silver ring for my birthday. This ring is such a statement piece; it is a great pop of color. The setting really adds a touch of boho-chic to the ring. This ring is from Kohl's. My mom has been building up my nice jewelry collection and this piece will last a lifetime (same with my Tiffany & Co. necklace).

Here is my ring bling number 2!

The next ring I purchased was bought after Christmas. I was perusing the Kohl's jewelry counter and found this little purple ombre gem. This ring is sterling silver and  Swarovski crystals. This ring has 2 things that I love, purple and ombre. The ring starts off with a darker purple that fades into a pale purple and finally fades into a clear stone. This is also quite a blingy statement piece.

Do you guys have any bling-y pieces of jewelry? Are you guys fans of the ring bling? I definitely am!

I think I'm going to spend the day with my boyfriend because he heads back to college on Sunday (boo!).
Not looking forward to having to school starting up on Monday. Oh back to the grind. The one good thing is the fact that all of our midterms were done pre winter break.

Anyways, loads of love!

  1. Love the rings!! I'm not huge into wearing rings(besides my wedding set) but sometimes wish I was!

  2. I love druzy! Great choice! TJMaxx gets them in sometimes, but they also have lots of sterling jewelry. I got a beautiful 'made in Israel' SS pearl ring once and SS blue topaz necklace!

  3. I love them both! And I love looking at jewelry at Kolh's--so much fun! I wish I would wear bigger, statement rings, though. I usually can't find ones that fit or are comfortable to wear. But maybe I will stumble upon some soon!
