Weekend Wrap Up

Hello fashionistas!
The title of this post is a bit of a fib seen as tomorrow is Memorial Day, so it will technically still be the weekend! I actually only snapped pictures today, I was too busy living up my Saturday to stop and take pictures! On Saturday the boyfriend came over and we went to the pool for a few hours and then that night I went and babysat. I had so much! Today, my mom, sister, and I went down to Daytona to watch my dad race at Daytona Speedway. Here are just a few funny snaps from our day. The weather was gross because we have a tropical storm going on, so it was raining off and on all day (and it is pouring now).

The sister and I huddled up in the pits. It started pouring out of nowhere!

Mom also snuggled up in a jacket to block out the rain being swept in from the wind!
I thought she looked so adorable in the hood, too precious!

I slipped my jacket on the wrong way so I could cover up my bag canvas bag. Didn't want the new Hilfiger to get soaked!

After driving up the scenic route, we stopped for a late lunch and then ice cream. My sister and I love this one little beach ice cream place called Sally's. It's about 45 minutes from our house, so whenever we go we love it! As you can tell our ice cream started melting really quickly.

While eating our ice cream I zoomed in on my phone and snapped a picture of the crazy tropical storms waves crashing on the beach.

I've had such a great weekend with my family and friends. Can't wait to sleep in tomorrow! I have some homework to wrap up tomorrow and I think the boyfriend and I are getting together. Happy almost Memorial Day.

What did you all do over the weekend? Was it lazy or super busy?

Homecoming 2011

Hello fashionistas!
As promised, here is my homecoming 2011 post!
I went with my best friend Lily, Kali, Asia, and Isabella. We had a really fun time!
Here are some of pictures we took.

Dress: Jones New York Shoes: Nine and Co from JCP Earrings: Mom's

Dress: Ross Shoes: Payless Earrings: her mom's

Lily and I both went for black dresses with a pop of color in the shoes. Seen as the theme was "neon nights" I chose bright blue, suede heels.

My eye makeup. I wish I could remember what I had used, but I don't really recall what it was.

Lily's eye makeup, again sorry I don't remember what I used on her!

The ticket.

 All of us girls!

Left to right: Asia, Isabella, Kali, Lily, and yours truly!
Anyone else find it hysterical how Lily manages to STILL tower over us in flats while we all had on high heels? I'm so envious of her height.

Best friends until the end!

My mom♥

My sister and I with Lily and her sister.

After the many pictures were taken (we must have taken over a 100 pictures) we went out to dinner at a local seafood restaurant. Then we went to homecoming. Danced it up and had some good laughs. All in all it was pretty grand night!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Teal, Black, and Curls

Hello fashionistas!
I though I would share what I wore today with you all.
My mom is away visiting her family, so photo props go to Nana, thanks Nan!
Also, this is my hundred and one outfit post!

Sorry for the strange smiles in the upclose pics. Not sure what was going on with my mouth!
Also, sorry for looking extremely pale, macro was on. I like macro the most, even if it does make me look pale.

Top: JCP Jeans: GV Blazer: Kohls Shoes: Target

I raided mom's closet today and borrowed this shirt. Thanks mom..
I thought the teal would look great with the blazer, so I just needed to borrow it.
The metal grommets on it caused me to forgo any accessories, which is a very rare thing for me to do.
Today was the first chilly day down here in FL, so I opted to curl my hair.

For my makeup I channeled my inner Rachel Zoe, aka my idol. I love her! Dark lipstick, subtle flush to the cheeks, mascara, and liner on the bottom lashline. Super easy.

While I was comfortable in my blazer, half of the school decided to wear parkas/sweatshirts. Floridians are so annoying about the cold, they act like it's below zero. I kid you not, I'm walking outside to a class and some guy said "man it's like negative degrees out here, I'm freezing!" It was literally only 65 degrees. I silently started cracking up.

School is going pretty well. Grades are due on Tuesday. As of now it looks like I'm going to have all As and one B in chemistry. On the history test I took last week I got a 98% , which I was extremely pleased about!
All of my other classes are going well, chemistry is just tough. I'm happy with a B in it, because it's a weighted class it will still be worth 3.5 points (GPA). All of my other weighted classes should cancel out the B.

Any-who, I'm off to go do homework. If I want to keep my grades up, I have to work for it!

Lots of love!

Patterned.

Hello fashionistas!
I wore this to school on Tuesday.
I borrowed the dress from the mother, I love the fact that I can just borrow her stuff when I'm not feeling anything of mine! On the other hand, mom doesn't always love it.
Thanks mom!

Dress: Kohl's Tanktop and bracelets: Forever 21 Blazer: JCP Necklace: ? Mom gave it to me Shoes: Target

I finally wore my new Target sandals and they were extremely comfortable! I like that they have all the comfort factors of a regular, flat sandal, but they have a little wedge!

This dress was incredibly soft, I seriously wish I had gotten one back when mom did...
I don't know if you guys have noticed, but I always wear my blazers (especially this one) with dresses because most of the dresses are tank top strap, and at school we can't have tank top straps. So that would be the reason behind the constant blazers. And the fact that I love blazers!

School was pretty good today, took my math quiz, passed with a 90%! I just accidently left out a negative sign. We started working on our 'breadth' for my AP 3D class. It felt good to be working with clay again, I really missed it. Pottery is one of my favorite classes ever. I love it.

It's almost the weekend, so yey!

Where Do I Begin?! Update and OOTD

Hello fashionistas,
whoooo, what a week it has been (and it's only Wednesday)!
Let me give a run down of my week so far!

Sunday: I went to a Bon Jovi concert with my mom and aunt that night. You all know my love for him! It was so great, he's amazing! We didn't get home until 1 am, and due to the fact that I was all jazzed up I didn't fall asleep until 2:30 am. Oh, Monday morning was r o u g h.

Blazer: Kohls Shirt: New York and Company Tank top: Aeropostale Jeans: GV Shoes: Aerosoles Clutch: Susan Faber Earrings: Mom's
Sorry for the fact that I'm talking! This was the only picture I have of my outfit.

Excuse the fat face pictures, bad angles. Also, excuse the triangle of paleness between my brows, I got a lot of sun (a little burnt) and had sunglasses on. So now I have that stupid pale spot!

Monday: I dragged my sleepy bootaaayyy out of bed and into the shower (I normally shower at night though). I was so tired! After making it through the school day I went home with my friend to do a trial run on her hair and makeup for prom. Then, we went and got our nails done (well she got her nails done and I got a pedicure).
Then I got home and did my geometry homework and studied for my French test.

Tuesday: I went to school and took my surprisingly easy French test. I'm glad it was easy because I made note cards, but I only studied for a half hour! Then I went to my best friend Lily's house and chilled for a couple of hours. After 'chilling', I went to her spring guitar concert (which was great) !
I didn't get home until 9:30, then I made my other best friend Melissa brownies because today is her birthday.
Before going to bed I looked over some biology stuff because Wednesday was the first pre-AICE biology exam.

Wednesday: I went in early to give Mel her brownies and card and have a little celebration.HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELLY!  Then came death (aka the exam). Biggest shocker of the day, the exam wasn't that hard! There were only a couple of things I was really stumped on. This one was apparently the easiest out of the 3 we have to do. Monday is the hardest (so scared). After the test I went to my normal classes and did work. I also finished my teapot project in pottery today! Once I got home it was more homework and studying. I also helped mom do some cleaning.

Now you're all caught up in my life! Sorry for ignoring the blog lately! My life has just been go, go, go nonstop! Tomorrow I have a geography test to study for so, I probably won't post anything.

I hope you're all having a great week!

Love you guys!

Chambray Love

Hellllloooo fashionistas,
HAPPY FRIDAY!
I'm so happy that this week is o-v-e-r!
It's been a long and stressful week.
As I told you all earlier I have 3 exams for my biology class (the first being on the 18th) and I've been working on the study guide like mad! I'm going to type up 8 pages tonight. I'm not looking forward to that at all!
Plus I still have more to do! *I just can't handle this*
Yes, that would be my 'crazy' Friday night plans!

Tomorrow, I'm going to my cousin's house to do her makeup for prom! I'll make sure to take pictures for you guys! After, we're meeting my Nana to go out to dinner, then we're spending the night at her house to celebrate Mother's Day.

Anyways, enough of my babbling! Here's what I wore on Wednesday.
Sorry for the horrible wrinkles! Every time I sit in this dress it wrinkles, but I still love it!
Dress: Fashion to Figure Chambray shirt: from my Nana, it used to be my grandfather's Shoes: Aerosoles Earrings: gift from my mom Headband: unknown Bracelet: vintage from my Nana

Hope you all like! I'm loving chambray this season, I can't wait to wear this shirt over some other dresses!
I have a couple of ideas in mind... You'll just have to wait and see!

On a random side note, I'm not going to do an April favorites post this month. I didn't really use many new products last month. I have been using a lot of new products this month, so I will definitely do a May favorites post when this month is over!

Floral Love

Hello fashionistas,
I wore this to school on Friday. I had to leave early for a biology test review, so this outfit was chosen the night before.
Cardigan & tank top: Kohls (cardigan is LC for Kohls) Pencil skirt: Coldwater Creek Watch: Avenue Earrings: mom Shoes: American Eagle for Payless

I love this cardigan so much! It's so perfect for Florida weather. I've worn it out on the weekend twice now. I'm so glad my mom bought it for me. I bought these shoes months ago, I had tried to wear them twice but, they were painfully uncomfortable! They weren't stretched enough in front and my pinky toes would get squeezed to death. I wanted a pop of color with this, so I toughed it out! I think I finally stretched them out enough, fingers crossed!

Hope you're all doing well! Lot's of love(:
Thanks for following and commenting, I can't believe I'm only 10 followers away from 200! So exciting!

Ruffles and Curls

 Hello fashionistas!
I wore this to school on Thursday.

Dress: from my Mom (I think she bought it at Ross?) Tank top: Forever 21 Blazer: Jcpenny Shoes: Aerosoles Bracelet: vintage, from my Nana

I threw this on at 8:53, we leave a little bit after 8:55! I was rushing around the house trying to find something to wear! I finally 'borrowed' this dress from my mom's closet (it might be making a permanent move to mine....) These pictures are not the best (from the angle taken, they make my face look really chubby). Sorry!

Today I'm headed to Panera with two of my best friends (Lily and Ethan). We're going to do some studying.
Panera is this awesome bread company and they have great soups, sandwiches, and pastries (among other things)! Ethan and I spent our entire mid-term study sessions there (a straight two days)!
I always have the best time with them whenever we go (at least twice a month)!
Yes, Ethan is said guy friend who I was in a big fight with. We're all good now. Just in case you were wondering!

Have a great Sunday, I'm dreading school next week! I just want summer to be here!

PS: I wanted to share a cute picture of Colby I shot.
He's a pain but, oh so cute!

Casual White and Blue.

Hello fashionistas,
I'm so sorry for falling behind on my blogging.
I would like to promise that it won't happen again but... I'm realistic and it probably will happen again! Sorry in advance!

Anyways, this is what I wore way back on Monday!

Shirt: New York and Company
Tank: Kohls
Shoes: Aerosoles
Jeans: GV
Bracelets: Mom

In these pictures my shirt looks really wrinkled, I'm not sure why..
I don't remember it being that wrinkled.
Oh well!

Also, this is the new haircut! It's not that exciting.
I just got my split ends cut, my bangs trimmed, and some face framing pieces put it. Oh, and she trimmed the top layers so they were actual layers again.

I hope you all had a great week and are now enjoying your weekend!
I'm off on spring break all next week, yeyyy!
Although, I'm feeling a bit abandoned..
Ethan (best guy friend) and Lily (you know her!) are both out of town until early next week.
I'm super jealous that I'm stuck at home and they're both out having fun!
My big plans for while they are gone are to 1.) finally get my learners permit (driving) and 2.) read some books!
I've been slacking on this permit since my birthday back in December! I'm finally reading the book this weekend, taking the required 4 hour drug and alcohol online test, and taking the actual test at the DMV.
Wish me luck!

Loads of love!
