Best Friends Outfit of the Day

Hello fashionistas,

I would like you to meet my best friend Lily.

I've featured her in some other posts but, I want to tell you more about our friendship.

We've been best friends for SIX years! I don't know how I would survive without this girl.

We have these moments that we call "mind macks" which are when one of us says/texts the same thing the other was about to say (or was saying). We can complete each other's thoughts and follow along on each other's long stories! Love you girl! Best friends FOR LIFE. 

This is exactly how we act! One of us is always laughing!

I know Lily's dress is from Forever 21, that's about all I know.

I also did Lily's makeup! Sorry I didn't get an upclose of either of our faces.

What do you guys think of the my topknot? I really like them, I want to wear my hair like this to school soon.

Is it not ridiculous how much taller Lily is than me? Grr, curse her and her never ending legs! I wish I didn't have such stumpy little legs! 

I wore this to see my other best friend in a musical last Saturday. Mel, you did great!

Life Update- 4/2/11

Hello my fabulous fashionistas,

I decided that it was time for a little update on my life!

I thought I'd fill you all in on the situation with my friend.

We made up and then we miraculously ended up fighting over something just as stupid as before. I'm taking everyone's advice and just waiting it out. If he doesn't want to patch this up then, maybe I am better off without him.

I left him a voicemail so, the ball is in his court.

Seriously though thanks for your advice and kindness. I love you all so much!

The weather here in FL during the week was pretty bad, severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings. Friday was beautiful so, Lily and I went to play mini golf downtown. Here are some pictures from that.

After mini golf, the family, Lily, and I all went out to dinner at a local seafood restaurant. I didn't order seafood!

Here's what I got.

Grilled chicken with onions, mushrooms, bacon, and cheese. "Smashed" potatoes for my side.

Healthy... Not!

Lily got shrimp stuffed with crab and this complicated side that I can't even explain!

Lily, my mom, and I all split "Lulu's Mud Pie." So good!

Today Lily was over almost all day and we watched a movie. Then we were outside walking around and talking. That's about it!

Tomorrow is sadly the last day of spring break! I do not want to go back to school.

I plan on doing my March favorites post tomorrow. I have an outfit of the day scheduled to go up on Wednesday.

Forever 21 Haul

Hello fashionistas!

I have a haul for you all today(:

Lily and I went to the mall on Friday with my mom and my aunt.

We had such a blast.

Here's what I got from Forever 21, I also went to MAC but I want to make that a separate post.

This looks better on than it did on the necklace hanger(:

It's quite the statement.

Lily talked herself out of getting this, and I knew I had to have it!

This is what Lily got.

Lily only got two things (ahem she has self control... Unlike me!). The dress is a deep purple, it looked so good on her. She wore it on Monday, too cute!

The store is the 2nd biggest in the world (or US I can't remember) it's mammoth! There is so much stuff, maybe too much stuff. It's quite overwhelming and the lines for the dressing room are really long!

Also they don't have any air conditioning in the dressing rooms and apparently 2 people had passed out the day we went. Lily said "shop till you drop, literally."

Lily 'literally' said that 4 times on Friday! So I had to add it in.

My only complaint with the store is that sometimes they feature things on mannequins and you can't find them. Also that it is really hot in there!

These are minor things that I can look over though.

I made an order from Forever 21 last night, so be expecting a haul in '5-10 business days'!

Spirit Week!

I'm back from my long pause in the blogging world!

Yesterday marked the start of Spirit Week at my high school.

Monday was PJ day.

Today was Decade day (we had the 60's), I didn't do this one.

Wednesday is Neon Color day (lame, we're neon orange). I won't be doing this one either!

Thursday is Dress Like Your Favorite Celebrity (any suggestions???)

Friday is School Pride.

Here is what I wore for PJ day. It was SO much fun, not to mention ridiculously comfy!

I forced Lily to wear our matching PJs that we had bought for our school trip last year. At the time

we had an obsession with owls (Woodsy Owl from the 70's PSAs in case you were wondering).

The PJs are from Target.

My tank top is from Kohls.

Lily wore a white tank top from New York and Company (she says that "It's really comfortable."

I wore black flip flops from Kohls .

Lily wore black flip flops from Payless.

Any suggestions for the Celebrity day for me? It'd be greatly appreciated!

Oh and do you guys think that it's too late for a September favorites?
