A Few New Purchases.

Hello fashionistas!
I have a few new purchases to share with you all.

I recently made an order at Apothica and I bought Nioxin's Volumizing Reflecting Root Lifter and Too Faced's Full Bloom Ultra Flush Powder Blush in the shade "Who's Your Poppy?"

I needed another volumizing product, so I thought I would give this product a try. For $9 I think that it works well and it smells nice and clean.

For some reason this photographed a lot more darker than it actually is!

A gorgeous peachy pink with a subtle golden sheen.

I'm so in love with this blush and I think it may have replaced my longtime love, Nars' Orgasm. It's also a very similar shade to Orgasm, so that could be why I like it. It's vibrant and has gold running through it to create a lovely glow on your face. I will most likely review this separately.

I picked up the oil blotting sheets by E.L.F at Target for only a $1. Every girl needs these in their bag, perfect for on the go touch ups.

While my mom and I were at Costco we decided to check out the clothing section and I found this adorable black pencil skirt by Ellen Tracy. I liked it a lot when I saw it, but I really really liked it when I saw the $13 price tag.

Mom and I also made a stop at DSW and I picked up a pair of black heels for school. I thought that these Kenneth Cole shoes had a low enough heel that they would be super comfortable for walking the halls.

I'm about to go out and get sushi with one of my girls. Have a great night.

Wear Green, Go Green.

Hello fashionistas!
I wanted to share the outfit I wore on my actual birthday to school. Are you all tired of all the birthday related posts? I promise this is the last post until next birthday! (;

Dress & Blazer: Target Tights: CVS Shoes: Ross Tank top: Costco Necklace Tiffany & Co Bracelet: Forever 21

I bought this dress a week before my birthday and decided to just save it to wear on my birthday. I don't know if it's just me, but I love wearing something new on my birthday (or any special day). I feel like it just puts a little more pep in your step. Is it just me?

I debated on wearing my black, pinstripe, boyfriend blazer, but I decided that this boyfriend blazer looked better. Sometimes you can go overboard on black.

Meant to share this tidbit with you all, my group project/song for history got put into the 'save' folder! She liked it so much that it's going to be used as an example next year; we were all really proud of ourselves.
Tomorrow I'm going in early to finish up my chemistry test, wish me luck because I'm going to need it!
On Friday I have a dentist appointment, so no school. Winter break starts early for me!

Loads of love!

Stripes and Snood

Hello fashionistas!
I thought I'd show you all what I wore to school on Monday.

Top: Vintage Jacket: Jones New York/Costco Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Shoes: Payless Bracelet: Forever 21 Scarf: made by my mom

There was a bit of a chill in the air and it was misting throughout the day. I opted for my "snood"; my continuous circle scarf. I thought the black jacket and grey scarf needed a pop of color and pattern, so I went with this classic blue and white striped shirt. This is one of my favorite jackets, whenever I wear it I feel like has a motorcycle rider vibe. Maybe that's just me; my secret rebellious, motorcycle riding alter ego breaking through!

I thought I'd share my school picture with you all.
This was before my bob cut.

Yesterday at High Q practice we played boys vs girls and us girls kicked some serious booty! I was quite proud of us. Today we had a our match and we lost extremely badly. Seriously disappointing, even though the team we played was the best team in our county. Oh well.

Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment, not looking forward to that!

Have a lovely day!

Outfit of the Day

Hey fashionistas!
Long time no blog. I've been incredibly busy, out of the past 8 days I've only been home for 2 of them.
I got my schedule for this year, I don't really like it. I have no classes with one of my best friends, and only 1 with Lily, and 2 with Melissa.

Isn't this an attractive face? Hahahaha, mom caught it on camera, she said something to make me make this face.

Top: Forever 21 Tanktop: Costco Shorts: Kohls Shoes: Bealls Earrings: H&M Bracelet: Lia Sophia Headband: Lily's

I wore this outfit to run some errands with the Mom. I bought a few things, so I'll be doing a haul tomorrow or the next day.

I hope you're all doing well! I won't abandon the blog for a week again! Although with school starting back up, you guys better get used to seeing outfit of the days again. Those are also my favorite posts to do!

Lots of love!

Blooming Flowers and Smiles

Hello fashionistas!
Here's a little outfit of the day for you all!

Top: Liz Clairborne Tanktop: Costco Skirt: Coldwater Creek Necklace: mom's Shoes: Aerosoles

I wore this last week! Again this was one of those outfits I threw on right before I walked out the door.
This shirt and the necklace are my mom's, yes, I borrowed some stuff from her closet.... again!

Sorry these aren't the best pictures, my mom took them after school before we went to my sister's school for a drama performance. The lighting is just off. I really love all of my  mom's flowers in the background, they look great!

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I plan on doing some studying for my 2nd biology exam on Monday, and hopefully hanging with Lily this weekend.

I Can't Come Up With a Catchy Title.

Hey fashionistas,
I wanted to share an outfit with you that I wore a longggggg time ago.
This was just a very chill school outfit.

Shirt, shoes,  turquoise ring, hair clip: Forever 21 Jeans: GV Rings: gift from my mom   Tanktop: Costco

I wore this weeks ago. It's been sitting in my "Outfit of the Day" folder on my computer waiting to go up!
I am so sorry for being so slow!
I remember wanting to throw a little pattern in so that's where the cheetah shoes come in! I like these shoes a lot, but they're half a size too big! So I stuff little balls of paper towel in the front so they fit! My friends always ask if I stuffed them every time I wear them, and I'm like "duh!"

Have a fabulous day!

Fresh Splashes

Hellllllllo fashionistas!
Happy Good Friday!
I wore this to school last Tuesday.

Top: Nine & Co. Tank top: Costco Jeans: GV  Shoes: Nine West Headband: Claire's Bracelets: Local store

Excuse the strange face in the 2nd photo!

Today I went out to breakfast at a local place (The Bunnery), then went grocery shopping and cleaned up my room. I've also been working on my 86 question biology pre-AICE exam study guide. Pre-AICE stands for Pre- Advanced International Certificate of Education. For my biology class we have to take a 3 pre-AICE exams. The first one is May 18th, so I'm trying NOT to procrastinate!
The next one is May 23rd, and then the last one is the day AFTER school gets out.
Oh yeyyyy! *total sarcasm paired with an eye roll*

I have a couple of outfit of the days coming your way this weekend and next week. I also have a requested review for ELF's cream liner coming up.

Tomorrow, I'm going shopping with my best friend, Melissa, so be expecting a haul post soon!

Have a great weekend (and if I don't post until after Sunday, Happy Easter) !

1-2-3 Smile and Say Cheese!

Happy Monday fashionistas!
Think of it this way, 4 days until the weekend!
Here's what I wore last Friday.
I want to give a big thank you to Melissa for taking these! We literally stopped in an outside pathway in our school, so she could get a few pictures of what I was wearing.
You're the best girl!

Top: Kohls (Candies) Tank top: Costco Skirt: Cold Water Creek Shoes: Aerosoles  Bracelet: Lia Sophia Earrings: Forever 21

I love this pencil skirt so much! I'm so happy that my mom bought it for me, I feel like it's a timeless piece that can be easily dressed up or down. Also, I know Cold Water Creek's clothing is well made so, I feel like it will last forever!

Oh, I've noticed a lot of comments about my hair lately, the real reason I've been curling it is because my mom took the straightener on vacation with her! Even though my hair is naturally straight I always run a straightener over it, just to smooth out all my layers.

When I curl my hair I sleep with my wet hair in braids over night, then in the morning I spritz a heat protector on my hair. I curl my hair with a 1 inch barrel (in sections of course). After I curl all my hair I flip my head upside down, spray hairspray, then flip back up and spritz a bit more. Voila, I'm done!

Lots of love!

Cargos and Chains.

Hello my dearest fashionistas,
I have an outfit of the day to share with you!
I wore this on Thursday.

Top and tank top- Kohls Cardigan- Forever 21 Cargo pants- GV (Costco) Shoes- Aerosoles (Ross) Earrings- New York and Company

This outfit sort of reminded me of the Disney movie Cadet Kelly (starring Hilary Duff).
Here's the DVD cover (via google images).
For some reason I was feeling a little "army glam". I think it was the cargo pants!

I don't know if you noticed but, these pictures were taken on my front porch (courtesy of my mom). My last two picture sessions have been on the front porch, you'll be seeing the other one soon! I've decided that outfit pictures outside are way better!

Now for a little update. My best guy friend and I are back to normal.
Tomorrow, I'm going over to my friend Madeline's house (hi Mad D, I know you're reading this)!
On Sunday my dad is leaving for a business trip. My mom is flying out on Wednesday to meet up with him for a little vacation. My Nana is coming to stay with my sister and I.
Monday and Tuesday I have standarized testing (barf).
On Thursday I have a geography test.
That's about it!

I'll be doing a post either Sunday or Monday.

Lots of love!
Have a great weekend!

Bon Jovi Concert- Outfit of the Evening

Hello my stylin' fashionistas!
Sorry for taking so long to get this up here!
I wore this on February 21st to a Bon Jovi concert.
I think that may have been the best night of my life, I love Bon Jovi so much!
My mom and I had a blast! I'll put up some pictures (:
I tried to load a video but, blogger wouldn't let me!
Grr.

Also, I wanted to say that my heart goes out to all the people suffering from the earthquake/tsunami.

Tank top: Forever 21
Jacket: Jones New York (costco)
GV: Costco
Shoes: Nine West
Earrings: Forever 21

Here's my mom and I.

These are some pictures I took at the concert. We had really high seats because we bought them way after they went on sale!

Hope you enjoyed my picture filled post!
Have a great weekend!
I'll post probably tomorrow!

Slouchy Studying Ensemble

So yet another OOTD for my little fashionistas!
I wore this on Sunday to study with my bestie Ethan for biology. So much work was done!
We studied on Saturday and Sunday at Panera; literally my whole weekend was studying.
Although we managed to slip in some fun!

Tank top: Kohls
Cardigan: Lauren Conrad for Kohls
Jeans: Costco
Shoes: Payless
Earrings: Forever 21
Watch: ?

I'm loving this cardigan, it's really soft and slouchy!
Very comfy, I'm not sure how out of the norm. this was but it was very comfortable to study in!
On a random side note, I've been really into my almost natural hair/ I've just been running a straightener through my hair. My hair is naturally straight so it just smoothes everything all out. Also apparently my bestie likes my hair better straightened, I always assumed it looked better curled. I'm not complaining though, straightening takes like 5 minutes!

Anyways!

Snood-rific

Hello dearest fashionistas,
I have an outfit of the day for you today.

I wore this on Tuesday to school.

Shirt: Target
Jacket: Jones New York (bought at Costco)
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt (bought at Costco)
Shoes: Payless (they're just the pointy toe silver ones, sorry mom didn't get them in the picture!)
Snood: Mom made it
Brooch: Borrowed from my mom

Again sorry for the phone pictures! My dad said he'd pick up a new memory card sometime this week. Until then...

I'm in LOVE with snoods right now, my pottery teacher loved it so much she tried it on; she wants my mom to make her one! I told my mom that I think she should make them and sell them on Etsy. Would you guys buy things like that from Etsy?

I'm so tired of school right now, with all of the exams we have next week we get a bunch of study guides. I hate having 154 question government study guide!
Oh exams.

Thanks for following and commenting!

Bejeweled Boho

Hello fashionistas,
I have an outfit of the day for you all.

I wore this to school on Monday. I'm also writing this on Monday night, I'm just getting into scheduling my posts. It makes it a lot easier to not have to worry about posting everyday if I have posts set up to go.

Shirt: Stolen from my mother
Tanktop: Kohls
Jeggings: Costco
Shoes: Aerosoles
Earrings: Vintage from my mom

Sorry for the phone images, I had to use my cell because I broke my memory card for my camer the other day! So annoying.
I love this top, I'm so glad my mom gave it to me (after I kind of took it...) !
I felt that it had a very bohemian kind of feel to it and it was all jeweled, hence the title.

Hope you're doing well!

I Do Love My Sequins..

Hey fashionistas!
I have an outfit of the yesterday post for you.

Shirt: Liz Clairborne
White Sequin Tank- Target (ages ago)
Black tank- Kohls
Black v-neck: ? Again bought forever ago!
Jeans: I think these are from Costco
Bangles: Two different sets from Forever 21

Sorry for only one picture (and not even full length!), I was literally running out the door and had to get a quick picture (my mom always takes them in case you were wondering.).

I first only had the sequin tank underneath the black v-neck and the blue shirt but I was worried it might be too low and I'd be busted for dress code (which hasn't ever happened). So I just tossed the tank top on just to be sure. Oh and even though they weren't pictured I wore black flats, I was going to wear my ankle boots but my ankle was bothering me that day so I didn't think teetering on 4 inch heels was the best idea especially in crowded halls. In case you were wondering I hurt my foot a couple of months ago and my ankle still acts up.

This outfit was sort of inspired by this picture. If I had worn the boots (and a sequin black skirt) then it would have been more inspired!

I think I'm going to do another post tonight but, post it tomorrow.

PS: Remember the geometry test I took on Thursday? Yeah I totally and completely failed it. I hate geometry oh so much. I don't know the exact grade but apparently the highest grade in the class was a C so.
