Outfit of the Day and Eye Makeup of the Day 11/2/10

Hello fashionistas!
A look was requested my one of my lovely followers using my "Traditional" palette by LA Colors.
Here's what I usually do.

In case you were wondering this is the Traditional palette below

First I take a primer (I use VS creme shadows).
Then I put Stila's Kitten all over my lid.
Then I took the 2nd brown in the 2nd row and put it in my midtone.
Next, I took the last brown in the 2nd row and put it in my crease/outer corner.
Then I took Stila's smudge pot in black (a holy grail product to me) and put it on my upper lashline and winged it out (the wing was thicker than I wanted).

After that I took Rimmel's LashMaxx and put that on my top lashes and put a coat of Maybelline's Falsies over that.
After this (this is optional) I took a bit of my VS creme shadow and put in on the outer corner of my lower lash line.
Then over the creme shadow I put a teal-y blue color from the Sleek Original palette for a POP of color.

It's really simple and an easy to wear everyday look.

Outfit of the Day from Yesterday

Hey girlies, I am seriously going to whip out a couple of posts tonight!

This is what I wore yesterday, my mom and I went to Kohls because we had some Kohls cash to spend and then my mom, dad, sister, and I went out to dinner.


Shirt: Target
Tank top (black, the shirt is sheer): Kohls
Skort: Costco (it's Dockers in case anyone wants to know)

All over lid: Maybelline e/s in Seashell
Midtone: A light purple from Stila Road to Radiance palette
Crease: Victoria Secrets Beauty Rush e/s in Plum Passion
Eyeliner: Milani True Black liner
Mascara: Falsies by Maybelline

Outfit of the Day

Hey chickadees(:

Here is what I wore today, I tried to do a close up of my eye but the colors wouldn't show up on camera so I'm not going to put it in.








Dress: Ross
Cardigan: Ross

My face is basically what I use on a daily basis so I'm not going to put it unless you want to know, then put it in the comments below!

On my eyes: Base Victoria Secret's creme shadow (and on a third of my lower lashline). LA Colors (12 thing I picked up at the Dollar Genral)
Victoria Secrets light purple shadow and a NYX purpley with gold glitter (barely noticeable) color from the palette I bought at Ulta in my crease. E.L.F. plum eyeliner with the LA color white shadow on top of it. Full n' Soft and Falsies on my top lashes. The same NYX color on my lower lashline.

Today I finished my first pinch pot in pottery and I will be painting it next week. I have a French, Geometry, and Biology quiz tomorrow. So off to study and do my geometry homework.

Outfit of the Day and Makeup of the Day

Hey girlies sorry I slacked yesterday, I had a final draft on an essay for english, a french quiz, and a math quiz today so I was busy studying and such yesterday.

This is what I wore today. Sorry I don't know why but I can't ever keep my hand steady!



Shirt: My mom's
Skirt: Belk
Shoes: Aerosole from Kohls
Earrings: Forever 21
Hair pins: Forever 21



On my toes I have on Sally Hansen Dahlia, love this color.



These are the earrings, they are black rose studs, sorry for the crummy image quality.



Note this is taken at like 9 pm because the one I took before school was a lot better.

On my face I have my usual CG concealer, Physicians Formula powder, Rimmel bronzer in Sunny, NYC creme blush in Plaza Pink, Hard Candy blush in Living Doll.



Up-close eye this WAS taken in the morning.

VS creme shadow as primer, Maybelline Seashell eyeshadow all over the lid, a pale shimmery purple from my Stila road to radiance as my mid-tone and a VS Beauty Rush shadow in some plum shade that I can't recall the name. Stila Smudge Pot on upper lid and Maybelline Falsies on my upper and lower lashes.

July Favorites 2010

Two posts in one day! Aren't you lucky(:

These are the products I have reached for A LOT this month (umm can anyone else believe how fast this month went by???). Only 22 days (tomorrow) until school starts. ):

So here we go.



I love the lightest color in the Stila trio and it is called Kitten. Perfect for all over, highlight, inner corner, everything!

Falsies is a really wonderful mascara, I just can't get enough of this product!

I like the LashMaxx for my lower lashline because (you can look at swatches of kitten and the mascara brushes in my Collective Haul post).

The Stila smudgepot in black is so easy to use and it doesn't fade, it stays put!

The Rimmel bronzer in Sunny bronze is so nice, I love it because it is matte (and it was under 5 bucks!).

NYC creme blush in 'Plaza Pink' makes my face look warm and glowing, love it.

These are the products that weren't in my makeup bag (well actually it's a Caboodle, one of the plastic ones).



The Vaseline body lotion in Cocoa Butter feels really nice on my skin and it absorbs very quickly. Also, it smells pretty yummy(:

Secret Garden body spray in Sweet Daydream smells all light and florally but not too florally.

Revlon nail polish in 'Minted'. I love this color, the only thing is you have to do 3 thin coats to make it opaque. I did a nails of the day posts a couple of days if you want to see a swatch of it.

Hello followers(: I just thought I would do a quick eye of the day post. I used my new Stila products.

For my eyes: Kitten all over the lid, Smog in the outer corner and crease, Stone right before Smog. I used the Smudge Pot in black for my eyeliner (I love it!) and Lash Visor mascara. For primer I used my Victoria Secrets Beauty Rush cream shadow (now discontinued) in a gold shade that I don't really remember the name. Here are some pictures. All but the primer are Stila products.













Hope you guys like, I will do a review after I use the products some more.

My Travel Makeup Bag

Hey guys, sorry I haven't posted since Sunday, been a bit busy. Today I have spent the day packing up all of my stuff to take on my vacation. This year my best friend Lily is going! We are leaving bright and early tomorrow morning! I thought I would do a quick post to show you some of the things I am taking with me.


I bought the gold bag that is filled with the cosmetics I am taking at Target about a year ago for like $4 bucks. It came with two other little pouches and one I use for feminine products and the other for lip products. I'm not going to list every single thing I am taking (because quite frankly I don't have the time! I have to finish packing), so here is a quick overview.

A Maybelline quad
A FLIRT! Shadow in Gypsy Nights
A Victoria Secrets eyeshadow (a purple one)
A Beauty Rush shadow (a mauve color)
A brown Milani eyeliner
A black Milani eyeliner
A black Rimmel eyeliner
A Milani 8 thing of eyeshadows
Full n' Soft mascara
Lashblast mascara
Telescopic mascara
Eyelash curler
Powder
A blush
A bronzer
and some lip products.
That's about it.
In the black case is my eye brushes and the other case (Sonia Kashuk) is my face brushes.

Oh and since I will be gone I don't know how many posts I will do. I don't have a laptop but my dad said I can use his so if I will do updates but I doubt I will do like OOTD or anything. I will do a post on what I wore with pictures when I get back.
And I'm not going to be able to change the picture at the top of the blog while I'm gone so I am going to put up a picture that I really like.

Haul.... Yes, I made another trip to the mall...

Alright, I know I shouldn't have but.... I did, I went back to the mall with my dad.



Victoria Secrets - $20
As I said before, I love these pants! They are the boyfriend style. I had to buy another, they aren't ever this cheap! Actually Dad bought me another pair, I love my dad!

Bath and BodyWorks - $1.87 each
I went back and bought another two (actually my loving sister bought me them, which was very nice of her) (: The first is Cinnamint Mentha and the other is Ultra Mentha (my favorite).

New York and Company - $6
A really bright hot pink pocket tee, same style as the one below. Just another color.

It is a minty green color, but in this picture looks gray. Sorry it wasn't very sunny and I don't think I had flipped on my bedroom light.

Haul (:

As I said in my previous post, I went to the mall today with my mommy (yes my mommy!) and my sister. I bought lots of stuff, and my mom bought me some more stuff(:
So I will attach photos of everything and their prices and where I (and my mom) purchased them at.



Victoria Secrets - originally $35.00, on sale for $19.99 and it was my dads birthday this month and they sent him a $10 card for his birthday (because he buys my mom and I stuff from there) and with that they were $10.00. I literally could live in their boyfriend sweatpants. I love them, they are so comfy. And not to mention super cute.

New York and Company- $15.00
I like these and they are 'boyfriend style' they are just shorts for summer(: I hate my legs though, I don't like my thighs so I don't like to wear shorts but, it is just too hot here!

WalMart- $ I don't know. Glamour is my favorite magazine so I always buy it. I just felt like including it in this haul post of mine. I wish it was like the UK Glamour which is giving away full size Benefit products! Oooh jealousy...

Bath and BodyWorks- $1.87 each normally $7.50 each
I LOVE THESE! They were 75% off and I bought five! As you can see the Ultra Mentha Lip Shine is my fave (darker green), I bought the Mentha Lip Shine (lighter green), and the Mentha Lip Tint in Pink Mint. I had to stock up, they are NEVER this cheap! They are the best lip glosses E V E R !

WalMart- $1.72
Target has these too. I like the formula, depending on the color you have to do 2 coats or so. I will do a review and picture whenever I do my nails with this color. Oh and this color is Midtown.

Bath and Bodyworks- Buy 3 signature scents get 3. This was $12.00
It is one of the sprays in PS I Love You, I love this spray! It smells so yummy.

Bath and BodyWorks - any 3 signature scents, get 3. (My mom got 4 things and I got 2). This is Cherry Blossom. It is $10.50.

Bath and BodyWorks- 7 of the wallflowers and scents for $20
This is for my bedroom and I got Sleepy Lavender. I didn't get 7 of these my mom and I both got some of them for rooms in the house(:

This is from the Hard Candy line and it is a blush in the color 'Living Doll'. Pretty color, I will do a review on this and the other thing I bought after I use them for a bit.

It is from the Hard Candy line as well and is in the color Bombshell. I like it, and supposedly it is a 'blush' it is wayyyy too dark to be a blush, so I'm going to use it for a bronzer. (I'll do a review). By the way this picture is from the website (my picture wasn't very good..)

Sickness Sucks!

Well this morning I woke up at 5 AM and went into my moms room and told her that I thought I was going to throw up. She said to grab the trash can in our office and I brought it back to her room and laid down with her while she rubbed my back. I threw up an hour later. It was terrible, I have thrown up 5 times! I took a teensy, weeny, sip of water and in less than 20 seconds threw it up again. Later I did manage to keep down some oyster crackers, Progresso chicken noodle soup, a popsicle (italian ice, yummm), and some Sprite. Of course not all at one time and spread throughout the day. My stomach is in terrible pain, like one minute it's fine and the next I am slumped over in pain. Also I have had these crazy hiccups which are upsetting my stomach even more! Well lets hope that I get better by Sunday because my grandparents (dad's side)are coming into town. I'm off to go find my Victoria Secrets slippers, I've had the chills (and the sweats) all day!
