Life Lately: Work, Friends, and Shopping.

Hello fashionistas!

I have not updated in awhile because life has been crazy busy! My face has finally healed up after my wisdom teeth surgery and I no longer have chubby swollen cheeks. I have recently started a new job working at Kate Spade! I absolutely love it and I really love their bags. I can't wait to buy my first one. 

I'm also nannying part time for a few kids, so my life has been go go go. Anyways, here are a few pictures of what I have been up to for the past couple of days.

My girls and I decided to do a beach day, but we also decided to order a huge pizza to take with us. Nothing like carbs, cheese, and bikinis. 

Here's a little beach selfie. I've spent all my days off last week at the beach. Literally four days in a row soaking up the sun, with SPF of course! 

Victoria and I went shopping the other day and I picked up this little bikini at Marshalls. It's a Vince Camuto and I just love the colors. 

I just bought this top and necklace from Kate Spade. I had my eyes on this necklace all last week when I was working and I had to buy it! 

My best friend, Lily, had her 18th birthday yesterday! Hence the silly party hat! I bought her a Kate Spade bag for her to tote around all her stuff when she leaves for college in the fall. I'm staying here and finishing up my AA at the local state college and then hopefully transferring to the same university. 

Birthday bae! My mom made an Oreo cheesecake for her. The cake was sinfully delicious and had a whole pack of Oreos in it. 

Today is my only day not nannying or working so I'm having another beach day with my boyfriend. Oh yeah, the boyfriend is also another new thing that's taking up my time. Overall, I'm very happy and running on lots of coffee while I be-bop around.

18th Birthday Recap

Hello fashionistas!

My 18th birthday was on December 8th and I wanted to do a little birthday recap post!

I went out to dinner with my family, best friend, Lily, and my boyfriend. We went to my favorite restaurant called Caps and sat outside overlooking the ocean. 

After dinner we went back to my house for presents and cake. 

Lily's dress is from Kohl's and my skirt and blouse combo is from Loft Outlet. 

Check out this height difference.. I'm over a foot shorter when I'm not in heels. #Shawty 

On my actual birthday I hung out with the boyfriend and he detailed my car inside and out. What a trooper because my car was g-r-o-s-s. I then rushed home to get ready for dinner. 

The following weekend I had an actual birthday party. My mom thought that doing a picture scavenger hunt would be a cool idea and she was right! We had a checklist of pictures that we had to do and at the end we went back to my house and watched all the team's photos in a slideshow. Then the winners were decided and prizes were doled out. We had some tasty pizza and cake for dinner. Here are some of the silly pictures of my team.

We had to make a pyramid by the base of the fort in downtown Saint Augustine.

The third team had Lily, my sister, Lily's brother, and my sister's friend on it. I sadly do not have any of those photos, but they were also hilarious!

Overall, this was the best birthday! I got to spend the actual day with people I really care about and then I got to have another party day with my girls who I love so much! I hope 18 is a good year!

Wear Green, Go Green.

Hello fashionistas!

I wanted to share the outfit I wore on my actual birthday to school. Are you all tired of all the birthday related posts? I promise this is the last post until next birthday! (;

Dress & Blazer: Target Tights: CVS Shoes: Ross Tank top: Costco Necklace Tiffany & Co Bracelet: Forever 21

I bought this dress a week before my birthday and decided to just save it to wear on my birthday. I don't know if it's just me, but I love wearing something new on my birthday (or any special day). I feel like it just puts a little more pep in your step. Is it just me?

I debated on wearing my black, pinstripe, boyfriend blazer, but I decided that this boyfriend blazer looked better. Sometimes you can go overboard on black.

Meant to share this tidbit with you all, my group project/song for history got put into the 'save' folder! She liked it so much that it's going to be used as an example next year; we were all really proud of ourselves.

Tomorrow I'm going in early to finish up my chemistry test, wish me luck because I'm going to need it!

On Friday I have a dentist appointment, so no school. Winter break starts early for me!

Sweet Sixteen Gifts

Hello fashionistas!

I thought I'd share all of my birthday gifts with you all. 

I want to say thank you to everyone for everything. I love my friends and family so much!

TIFFANY'S NECKLACE!!! 

My parents, Nana, aunts, and uncle all went in on this for me! I was so so so excited when I opened the box and saw that perfect blue box just sitting there. I've been wearing it nonstop since I got it. If you'll remember a few months ago I wrote a post on here about how I wanted one, well now I have one

This bag is by Ivanka Trump and I had been lusting after it for a few weeks and when I saw that Lily and two of my other friends got it for me I was incredibly happy and excited! 

This bag is from another one of my friends. I absolutely LOVE this bag! It's such a statement color, like "BAM, I HAVE ARRIVED!" 

Not only do I love this box, but I also love what's inside! My aunt, uncle, and cousin got me this plush, purple robe and a trio of Secret Wonderland Bath and Body Works products. The robe is so warm and fluffy.

My mom's good friend (and my honorary aunt) got me all of these movies. A movie for each year (16) and each movie is starting from 1995-2011. I'm going to be watching a lot of movies over winter break!

My great aunt got me this picture frame. I can't wait to hang it up over my dresser! 

One of my friends bought me this, I wore it today. Too cute! 

Another great aunt got me this necklace. I love the beautiful bronze colors swirling about this piece. It's such a statement necklace, I'm still trying to figure out what to pair with it! 

My honorary Nanny bought me this bracelet. I love how girly it is, very me!

This wasn't actually a gift, I bought these while I was out shopping; I just thought I'd include them.

My mom always buys my sister and I ornaments every year. She says she does it so that when we move out we'll have ornaments for our own trees. 

My mom's best friend bought me these nail polishes. I currently am wearing "Wocka Flocka." It's the last one on the right.

Melissa bought me this candle because we both love candles! She also got me this delicious Kenyan coffee from the farmer's market and a Forever 21 giftcard. We're shopping buddies! 

My pottery teacher got me this because I had been craving a carmel apple ever since she'd talked about making them. I was so touched when I walked in and she had this for me, she also put hot pink sprinkles on it! She wasn't able to make my party because of a conflicting engagement. 

My former biology teacher came to my party and she got me this Sephora mirror and a gift card. 

She knows me so well! 

My mom put together a box of pedicure goodies. I think she was tired of me taking her stuff!

Mom also bought me these adorable flats.

My sister got me all of this because I love warm vanilla sugar and Lindor chocolate! 

Again, thank you all so much; I love you all! 

I'm off to go get ready for tomorrow. I have a chemistry test and an english test/essay tomorrow. It's going to be a busy, long week before winter break.
